Introduction

Journalism has always served particular interests.  It has rarely served the public interest.

Even when journalists believe they are serving the public interest, all they are really doing, for much of the time, is adding to societal despair.

Awareness of the truth of corrupt practices does not make reasonable people happier.  It merely provides acknowledgement of the sources of their despair, and their powerlessness.

Perhaps you are aware of the despair of The Author.

Perhaps you have the ability to help The Author overcome feelings of despair.
